Our approach
Necessary storage is always on. Marketing measurement is set only if you press "Accept all".
Always on — strictly necessary
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in. Strictly necessary.
- Language preference (ss-lang) — local storage, remembers EN/DA, never sent to a server.
- Newsletter popup state (ss-nl-sub, ss-nl-snooze) — local storage, stops the popup reappearing.
- Your cookie choice (ss-cookie-consent) — remembers what you picked. Kept for one year.
- Portal state (ss_token, ss_onboard_done) — keeps you signed in.
- Inside Shopify Admin, Shopify sets its own session tokens under Shopify's policies.
Our own measurement — no cookies
We count page views using a random id in session storage (ss_aid), deleted when you close the tab. Not a cookie, never shared.
Only if you accept — marketing
If you accept, Google's conversion measurement sets a first-party cookie (_gcl_au, up to 90 days) to connect an ad click to a signup.
